Save 28%: The best sites for booking tours and attractions

Sometimes, it’s nice to laze around a resort on holidays and enjoy some genuine R&R.
But at Hack Your Trip, we like to get out and about on most of our trips to see the world’s beauty firsthand.
The only problem is, tours and experiences can be a significant added expense on trips.
But there are booking sites that can help you save—and some even allow you to earn frequent flyer points on bookings!

Top 5 Booking Sites for Tours, Attractions and Experiences in 2025

1. Pelago

Pelago is a tour booking site brought to you by Singapore Airlines – our favourite international airline.
The hook-up with Singapore Airlines allows customers to earn – or use – KrisFlyer miles on bookings.
Pelago lets you book more than 200,000 activities worldwide, with plenty of options across Australia, Europe and Asia in particular.
Whether you want to do a Blue Mountains day tour from Sydney, need tickets for the London Eye or need a fast rail pass for Japan – you can find it all on Pelago.
We have also found plenty of deals cheaper than you will get anywhere else.
For example, turning up to SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and buying an adult ticket on the spot would cost you $53.
However, a same-day visit could be booked on Pelago for $41.29 at the time of writing – a saving of more than 28 per cent.
Additionally, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer members earn 3 points per S$1 spent on activities on Pelago.
That’s a nice double-dip of value!

2. Klook

Klook has become a pretty big deal when it comes to booking tours and experiences globally.
The booking platform offers more than 100,000 activities across 350 major destinations worldwide, including Australia, Asia, Europe and North America.
Whether you want to book a day trip to the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne, a private car for a day in Bali or a helicopter tour in Hawaii, there are plenty of options on Klook.
What we also found on our travels around Asia recently was that Klook is a great option for booking transportation – such as private or shared airport transfers.
We could book transfers online with almost instant confirmation for cheaper prices than we could find anywhere else.
Another option worth considering on Klook is a ‘Klook Pass’.
These are available in many major cities worldwide and give you access to between two and 10 attractions of your choice – with just one good-value pass.

3. Tripadvisor

This has long been a favourite website for Australians, both for checking reviews and making tour bookings.
However, we have found that booking tours and experiences through TripAdvisor can be a little more expensive than other sites at times.
There is a way to save, though.
Cashback websites like Cashrewards often provide up to 10 per cent cashback for bookings made on TripAdvisor – if you click through Cashrewards first.
This cashback can help make some bookings on TripAdvisor cheaper than on other sites.

4. GetYourGuide

Another good tour booking website, GetYourGuide claims to offer over 140,000 experiences in 10,000 cities worldwide “including hard-to-book attractions and easy-to-miss surprises”
From walking tours in Berlin to overnight safaris in Dubai and aeroplane flights over the Grand Canyon, there are certainly plenty of options available.
There are also plenty of private tours on offer if you are happy to splash some more cash for such experiences.

Take a tour and explore some of the world’s most stunning places, like Waimea Canyon State Park in Hawaii.

5. Viator

This booking website is actually owned by TripAdvisor and offers many of the same travel experiences.
There are more than 300,000 tours and experiences you can book on Viator, covering all corners of the world.
One nice thing about using Viator is has flexible booking options for many experiences in case your travel plans change.
For “most experiences”, travellers will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
There is also a ‘Reserve Now & Pay Later’ option on many activities, allowing you to secure bookings without making payments right away.

Summary

To save money and earn points on tours and experiences, consider these top booking sites for 2025: Pelago, Klook, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, and Viator. Pelago, tied to Singapore Airlines, offers KrisFlyer miles and competitive prices, while Klook boasts a vast selection and convenient transport options. TripAdvisor, though sometimes pricier, can be cheaper with cashback deals, and both GetYourGuide and Viator provide extensive global experiences with flexible booking options.
