The best hotel booking sites in Australia for 2025
You can spend hours searching for deals on different hotel booking sites.
However, you don’t necessarily need to if you know where to go.
There are no-fuss ways to find amazing deals online quickly – which we at Hack Your Trip have tried and tested so that you don’t have to.
Here are the best hotel booking sites in Australia for 2025.
1. Super.com
Some people want great rooms at great prices on one website.
If this is you, head to Super.com.
We have consistently found this to be one of the best hotel booking sites, and it is our pick for those looking for a hassle-free way to book a stay.
We searched for some hotels in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane on random dates over the next few months to compare prices between Super.com and the hotel’s own websites, with the following results:
Crown Metropol Melbourne, January 18, 2025
Super.com $376 v Hotel Website $999
Pullman Melbourne on the Park, February 22 2025
$287 v $425
Ovolo Woolloomooloo Sydney, March 8 2025
$428 v $764
Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane, March 8 2025
$193 v $341
Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport, March 15 2025
$164 v $194
These are just a few of the many examples we could have given.
But as you can see, the potential savings of booking a stay are enormous.
How Super.com works
This website works a little differently from other sites. To access all the online deals, you have to enter your mobile number and the code that you are sent.
But it’s worth it.
At Hack Your Trip, we have used Super.com for bookings before and haven’t had any issues.
At the time of writing, this site had a 4.2 rating from more than 34,000 reviews on Trustpilot — far better than many other cheap hotel booking sites.
2. Expedia
One of the largest travel booking websites in the world, Expedia usually returns fairly standard pricing when you search for a stay.
However, if you make an Expedia Rewards account and log in, you will be treated to much better deals.
Membership is free, and members save at least 10 per cent on rooms at more than 100,000 properties worldwide when booking with Expedia.
You will also earn points in the Expedia Rewards program, which can be used for discounts on future bookings.
We tested the member pricing on a two-night stay in Sydney from April 25-27, 2025.
Before logging in, we were offered the following prices:
Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney - $716
Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel - $736
View Sydney - $574
Furama Darling Harbour - $718
Vibe Hotel Sydney - $700
After logging in, we received the following prices for our two-night stay:
Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney - $644 ($72 off)
Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel - $552 ($184 off)
View Sydney - $459 ($115 off)
Furama Darling Harbour - $452 ($266 off)
Vibe Hotel Sydney - $700 ($70 off)
Member pricing is not available for all hotels on Expedia, but some of these deals represent savings of up to 37 per cent.
As we’ve written before, booking your flights and hotel together is another good way to save with Expedia.
3. Luxury Escapes
When it comes to travel deals websites, this is our favourite.
Luxury Escapes offers a rotating range of fantastic package deals for destinations across Australia and worldwide.
If you don’t think you’ll ever be able to afford an all-inclusive island stay in The Maldives – think again.
There are packages available with savings of over 60 per cent.
If the Maldives is a touch extravagant for you, there are also great-value deals on excellent hotels and resorts in places like Bali, Thailand, Fiji, Vietnam, the Gold Coast, and much more.
We have previously tested the value of these packages and found them to deliver huge savings.
We’ve also purchased and used Luxury Escapes deals and have had great experiences.
Summary
Super.com, Expedia, and Luxury Escapes are standout hotel booking websites offering significant savings on accommodation. Super.com excels with no-fuss, low-cost bookings, Expedia offers better deals for members, and Luxury Escapes offers exceptional travel package deals for luxury stays. Save money by comparing prices and leveraging the unique benefits of each site for your next trip.
